I've been up with a monstrously cranky toddler since 6:45 a.m., that despite the use of a disposable diaper overnight, woke up soaked for the second night in a row. Meanwhile, my husband King Gets-to-sleep-in-a-lot is in the bedroom with his face buried under a pillow. It's now nearing 9am.
Justice? Our neighbor's lawn care service just showed up.

LOVE IT...and if the lawn service doesn't do the trick have A take that nasty soaked diaper into him! What a lazy butt!
Why is it that the men always get to sleep in? Even on my day to sleep it never happens..the kids and the dog come and pile all over me..but when papa is sleeping..everyone is all 'shhh, daddy is sleeping, be quiet'

Oh man....my husband is King Naps-a-lot. He expects to be able to take a cat nap after he does just about anything. He even names the naps, like "fixed the computer nap" or "put away the groceries nap".
I suppose I should prepare to be a single-wakeful parent when we cross that road!
My girls are 4 and 8 FINALLY they like to sleep in...You'll have your day eventually....I hope!
I don't see a problem with him sleeping in. I bet he works really hard.
