Good Credit Report Vital to Good Mothering

Dear Lady in my play group:

I would like to know why, when responding the question of the week via message board, you felt the need to elaborate far too much.

When asked what the sequence of events would be like after you'd won the lottery, you -- as many of us did -- replied pay off debt. That is not an abnormal answer at all; very logical, indeed. It was what came next that was a little puzzling to me. You felt the need to follow "Pay off debt..." with "...under 3k". Now, why you felt the need to make that teeny tiny amount public knowledge is beyond me. I view you as a better mother due to your low accumulation of debt.

I believe -- as an organizer -- it is only fair that we allow mothers with good credit reports into our little group.

PS: I would also like to know how it is that your daughter escaped the play area and made her way fully up the escalator the other day at the mall while both you and your husband were present; neither of you missing her until some lady caught her and was screaming "Who's baby is this?!?" on her way up the escalator.

Sincerely concerned,

Me

LOL - yeah, I'm literally laughing out loud! I thought the same thing when I read it! You crack me up... and MOM who has less than 3K in debt please stop offering to babysit, because after the recent escalator incident no one is going to take you up on it! Plus, do you really only consider your debt to be 3K when you tell us that someone else is paying your bills? Wow B, I guess you've inspired me!

Holy hell...

My parents have great credit and I wandered off in a mall when I was 2 or 3. We were in a department store and I just made my way out into the mall. My poor parents said we were actually closer to the outside door and they went terrified into the parking lot to look for me while my older brother went for a guard.

Interesting conection huh? ;)

That's sad that they didn't notice, but sometimes parents do get distracted. I'm not saying it's okay though. What play area does that mall have? There is a mall around here that have hired help to look after the kids in the play area.
